As a residential excavation contractor here in Colorado Springs, we offer many services to serve your excavation needs. A residential project is geared more toward a home or property owner's project and doesn't need 10 pieces of heavy machinery to complete the project, often just a couple of machines can get the job done.  A common example of residential excavation is barn pads and building pads, however, every project is different. Are you looking to have your land cleared in preparation for an upcoming project? In the preparation of a new building foundation, there are actually several services from grading and preparing the land, to digging the hole for the foundation, backfilling, and compaction around the foundation once it's complete.
